Biography

After only one year of being a band, Connecticut’s Brookline Drive is already building a considerable buzz, and selling out headlining shows across New England as one of the best up and coming pop/rock bands around. Originally formed as an acoustic project by Ben Lemieux (Vocals) and Rich Paquet (Drums/Vocals/Acoustic Guitar), the duo quickly started turning and heads and grew into a full band as they added brothers Spencer and Jordan Hillman (Guitar/Vocals and Bass/Vocals/Keyboards) to the lineup.

Brookline Drive may be new to the music scene, but they are far from inexperienced. Their members have played with or done stints in bands such as The Best Week Ever (PureVolume’s #2 Unsigned Artist of 2010), We Shot The Moon (The Militia Group/Afternoon Records) and Sparks Will Fly (Sold over 8,000 CDs independently touring nationally with the Vans Warped Tour).

The band’s explosive lineup features four talented vocalists whose vocal interplay and harmonies are unlike anything out there today. Drawing influences from all over the musical spectrum, Brookline Drive’s four talented multi-instrumentalists have created a unique, catchy sound that makes for an incredibly exciting live show.  Brookline Drive has recently shared the stage with National Acts like Hot Chelle Rae (RCA), Cobra Starship (Decaydance, Fueled By Ramen), Neon Trees (Mercury), Megan & Liz, Marina and the Diamonds (Neon Gold Records), Forever the Sickest Kids (Fearless Records), Paradise Fears, Weatherstar, Sparks the Rescue, Stereo Skyline, Burnham, and more.

Their recent album release "Remember When"  is getting great reviews. "The talented group of guys blend great vocals with great backing beats to create fun music."  Arin Segal of ATeen.com.     This fall Brookline Drive is doing selected shows throughout the Northeast while writing songs for their next album.
